Regina “Gina” M. Tengler

Regina “Gina” M. Tengler, FNP-C, joined the Pain & Spine team in June 2024. Originally from Houston,TX, Gina moved to San Antonio with her family in June 2000. Gina attended Texas Tech University (GoRed Raiders!) for her undergraduate education and went on to pursue her advanced practice educationand certification with University of Texas at Arlington.

Gina is dedicated to helping others and brings years of varied clinical experience in several disciplines including women’s health, labor and delivery, and primary care. She believes in a holistic approach to medicine, understanding that the physical, emotional and social aspects of health are interconnected. Gina’s dedication to her patients is matched only by her love for friends and family. When not working to help her patients, Gina can be found playing matchbox cars with her energetic 3-year-old son, relaxing on the patio with her husband, spoiling her nieces and nephews, or organizing weekly game-night dinners with friends and family.

Whether it’s through her work in healthcare or her personal life, Gina is driven by a strong sense of care, empathy, and commitment to the well-being of those around her. Her philosophy in both work and life is centered around kindness, wellness, and continuous learning, which makes her a trusted professional and friend and a valued member of the SA Pain & Spine team.
